On February 5, 2003. Crystal Research, Inc. (CRI) received $750,000
Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award from the Air Force
Research Laboratory (AFRL) to develop integrated on-chip optical
interconnects using electro-optic holograms.
On July 19, 2004. CRI received $750,000 SBIR award from the Missile
Defense Agency (MDA) to develop miniaturized high power solid-state
laser systems.
On March 18, 2005, CRI received a contract to develop advanced
electro-optic materials from a California Company A for electro-optic
holography applications...
On April 27, 2005, received $750,000 SBIR award from the AFRL to
develop high-speed electro-optic phase modulators for aero-optic
applications.
On July 1, 2006, CRI received a research grant from a California
Company B to produce ultra thick transmission gratings......
On April 13, 2007, received $1,000,000 SBIR award from the Army to
develop advanced X-band photonic radars.
